An anonymous benefactor who donated $1,000,000 to establish a Center of Excellence in Integrated Design. The center is directed by the Department of Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering but will be a resource for all college students and faculty.

The generous support of the Consumers Energy Foundation, through a $30,000 four-year commitment, the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering will have the necessary resources to expand and modernize the Energy Conversion Laboratory as it prepares for its home in the new College campus.

The Austin Company for providing $25,000 to the College of Engineering and Applied Sciences equipment fund. This generous gift will be used to purchase necessary equipment for the new facility atthe Business, Technology and Research Park.

Parker Hannifin for donating $16,000 worth of cylinders to the automotive laboratory.
